Thank to you everyone who attended both the funeral service and the refreshments at The White Lodge Hotel.
Special thanks to those who had travelled far to be there. Your love and caring support was greatly appreciated.
Thank you for the eulogy prepared by celebrant Judith Goodison whose words perfectly captured the Alison we all loved exactly depicting the person she was, her determination to live life to the fullest and the quality holiday time she packed in her whilst enjoying good health.
The front booklet picture in the Swiss Alps was one of Alison's most treasured idyllic places surrounded by beautiful scenery, clean air and alpine flowers and meadows.

Susie Ledge is a singer-songwriter and musician based in the North East of England.
Having spent most of her career so far collaborating on releases with some of dance music's elite e.g Kosheen, Decoder & Substance, Kat Krazy, Danny Dove, Ben Preston, DJ Shogun and Vision Z to name a few, it is difficult to pigeon hole her style, although Susie's creativity spans many musical genres depending on what mood she's in and who she is collaborating with.
With glowing support from the Radio 1 and Kiss FM rosters over the years, Susie Ledge never fails to impress with her evocative lyrics and beautifully soft yet powerful vocals.

Rich from the Journey
Hope you were all touched by the words imparted by celebrant Judith Goodison drawn from the the title cut 'Rich From The Journey' from the album released by Kimmie Rhodes on March 28, 2000.
Kimmie's songs had been recorded by a passel of huge country and gospel stars and received bushels full of enthusiastic reviews and responses, but even after her then acclaimed previous effort, 1996's West Texas Heaven, the spotlight had largely bypassed Kimmie Rhodes despite a phenomenal songwriting talent frequently mentioned alongside such giants as fellow Texans Townes Van Zandt and Guy Clark.
This her fourth album of new material continued her streak of exquisite singer-songwriter albums, but it was also a work of significant personal and musical growth.
Rich From the Journey is humble and full of gentle, hushed praise, a thankful album in the sense that Rhodes' lyrics sparkle with gratefulness and joy for life's many aesthetic beauties, the outward ones that we can see, but also the internal ones that we must search ourselves to find. The album is suffused with a sunny, spiritual calm that is soft and absorbent, like a foot sinking into the wet beach sands of an ocean.

Thank to Daisy Dot Flower Shop (The Old Garage, Scarborough Rd, Filey YO14 0EH | WEBSITE ) for the beautifully arranged flower displays that dressed the Bamboo Coffin (Rounded Shape - 5ft 9" | Cardboard Coffin Company) which matched the colours of Alison's favourites cruise dress which was pictured on the screens throughout he service.
Thank you all the staff at The White Lodge Hotel for providing the refreshments.
It was lovely to look across the bay on such a glorious day.
